The programs linked below were submitted by 1953 Cass Tech graduate Jim Blass. Mr. Blass is so proud of his experiences at CT that he chose to share the following information with the CT Hall of Fame.

"I was in the music department with teachers Glen Kleppinger-Music Dept Head and Choral Director, Mr. Bistritszky (sic)-Orchestra, Mr. Harry Begian-Band Director (later to be Dr. and Director Emeritus of the Band Directors of America), Velma Froud, Harp and Girl's Chorus (also a member of the Phil Spitelnys (sic) All Girl Band). The A Capella Choir was so good that we were never adjudicated at state contests, but they did let us sing. I have some recordings made of a few of our concerts. Mr. Blood, the instrument room boss, made the recordings on a wire recorder and then transferred them to soft-cut platters." Jim Blass Class of 1953
